The Blue Olive
One of the best live music venues in the Maritimes, Saint John's own The Blue Olive will showcase some of the finest Canadian and international musicians this sumer.
Tonight, the unmistakable voice of Alfie Zappacosta will hit the Blue Olive stage. Back by popular demand, the two-time Juno winner has defined his talent as a lyricist and musician across all types of music as diverse as rock, adult contemporary and jazz.
Radio Factory, one of Saint John's most diverse and favourite local bands, will perform on July 24th, bringing an eclectic mix of original tunes and covers of everything from Billie Jean to Rappers' Delight.
Other national acts will perform at The Blue Olive as part of the Fundy Bay festival - a multicultural event celebrating the different genres of music and performing arts throughout Canada, for all ages.
Newfoundland native and Order of Canada recipient Terry Kelly will fill the venue on August 5th with his unique motivational speaking style and musical sound as part of the "One Night/One Wish" fundraiser for the Children's Wish Foundation. The $60 per person ticket includes a full meal.
As the last woman standing on Rock Star: INXS, Toronto native Suzie McNeil's strong voice will hit The Blue Olive on August 6th, as part of the Fundy Bay festival.
The licensed 250-seat dining room offers a full menu where customers can enjoy a delicious meal followed by a terrific live show. . Having it's start by building on a reputation of great food and service and add a first-rate bar, killer sound system and talent the Blue Olive has become one of the top live music venues in the Atlantic Provinces.
