On The Edge

Wanted: Your On the Edge Performance

Saint John 225 is accepting applications for unique acts for

Reunion 2010 music festival weekend

During the Reunion 2010 weekend, show us what you can do with your On the Edge performance.

On the Edge is music, theatre, art, magic, dance, film, acrobatics … you name it, you can perform it during Saint John 225's Reunion 2010 weekend, August 5 to 8, 2010.

Saint John 225 is looking for performers - in any medium - to play in public spaces such as a street corner, a wall, the skate park, or any place that makes you want to sing, dance, draw, paint, and play.

If you can sing a history of Saint John High's Rhodes scholars while juggling, we want you. If you can draw caricatures of famous Saint John politicians to the sounds of sea shanties, we want you. If you can choreograph an all-skateboard performance of Swan Lake, sign up your crew because we'll take it.

"We want to see what Saint Johnners can do this year to celebrate what makes this city original," says Sandra Bain, chair of the Saint John 225 On the Edge committee. "Say happy anniversary the best way you know how and be part of Saint John's On the Edge."

To apply for On the Edge, visit saintjohn225.com and download an application form. Applications are open until June 22, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. Submissions can be made by email to info@saintjohn225.com .

Reunion 2010 is the fourth of five summer festivals hosted by Saint John 225. It is a four-day music festival that will feature a variety of musical genres, with both free and ticketed venues.
